Change log
Every database migration applied to CharityFile, and changes to the fees, deadlines, exemptions, penalties and other state facts in our database, with the date of each. The database writes each fact entry itself and refuses a change that does not name who made it. It also refuses to edit or delete an entry, so a correction always appears as a new entry.
See /coverage for the share of rows whose quote we found in its source and the oldest review per jurisdiction, /api/quality for the machine-readable JSON snapshot, the RSS feed of the newest 200 entries, or the CSV export of every entry.
244 database migrations since Apr 24, 2026, and 1115 fact changes since Sep 9, 2026.

- Sep 14, 2026MO deadline rule: calculation notes Missouri SOS Corporate Registration Report due August 31 each year per Mo. Rev. Stat. §355.856. Annual is the default; corporations may elect biennial filing per §355.857 (even-year corps file in even years; odd-year corps in odd years). Fixed-date deadline — does NOT shift with fiscal year end. NOTE: this is REQUIRED for all MO nonprofit corporations regardless of §407 charity-solicitation exempt status — the 501(c)(3) blanket exemption from §407.456(2)(6) does NOT apply to this corporate filing. → Missouri SOS corporate registration report due August 31 (§355.856). Fifteen dollar late fee in §355.856.3. Dissolution is not automatic: §355.706(2) the secretary of state may commence a proceeding if the report is not delivered within ninety days after it is due; §355.711 requires at least sixty days after notice.; source quote replaced

Made by: not recorded - Sep 14, 2026MO deadline rule: calculation notes Annual report due within 75 days of fiscal year end per Mo. Rev. Stat. §407.462. E.g., December 31 FYE → March 16 due. June 30 FYE → September 13 due. NOTE: 501(c)(3)/(c)(7)/(c)(8) orgs are EXEMPT from this filing under §407.456(2)(6). → Annual report within 75 days after fiscal year end (§407.462.2). Exceptions from that annual-report duty (they do not remove initial registration): (1) allocation from an incorporated community chest or united fund that itself files; (2) contributions not in excess of the attorney-general amount, which shall not be less than ten thousand dollars, in the twelve months; (3) the local-affiliate carve-out in §407.462.2(3).

“every charitable organization shall, within seventy-five days of the close each of its fiscal years ending after the date on which the charitable organization files its initial registration under subsection 1 of this section, file an annual report”
Made by: not recorded - Sep 14, 2026MO deadline rule: calculation notes Initial registration must be filed BEFORE soliciting any contributions in Missouri per Mo. Rev. Stat. §407.462. No grace period. Paper-only filing — Missouri AG has not yet launched online portal as of 2026-04-29 ("Not yet, but we are working on such a system" per AG FAQ). Submit to registrations@ago.mo.gov or mail to AG Consumer Protection Division. NOTE: 501(c)(3)/(c)(7)/(c)(8) orgs are EXEMPT from registration under §407.456(2)(6) — most CharityFile customers will not need to file at all. → File the Charitable Organization Initial Registration Statement before soliciting (§407.462.1). Current form (Modified August 2025): mail the completed form with the $15 fee. Email registrations@ago.mo.gov is for the optional 15 CSR 60-3.080 exemption letter, not the registration filing. Fact entries record changes to fees, deadlines, exemptions, penalties, required attachments, agencies, audit thresholds, deadline extensions and conditional duties, including changes made directly in the database. A fee, deadline, exemption or deadline extension entry shows the source quote and link of its row, or says what the entry did not record. Migration entries record every migration applied to the production database. This page shows every entry. The database refuses to edit or delete an entry of either kind. “Made by: not recorded” marks an entry from before we recorded who made each change.
