How we keep this current

• ✓Sources: Every deadline, fee and exemption quotes its source and links to it. Each source is a statute, a regulation, or an agency's own page, form or guide.
• ✓Nightly quote check: Each night a script looks for each verified quote on its source page. If the page gives an error or no answer, or is a short page without the quote, the script looks for the quote in our saved copies of that page. It does the same for a host that asked us not to fetch its pages. A copy counts only if it is less than a year old.
• ✓Deploy-time checks: before each release, the deploy runs a set of tests against the production database. If a test fails, the release stops. The tests check that the list of states and the primary form names match the database, and that each state has a guide page and at least one row in the filing calendar.
• ✓Public record: /api/quality gives the “quote found in source” counts as machine-readable JSON. The /change-log lists every database migration and changes to the state facts. Anyone can read both without an account.

Per-jurisdiction status

“Oldest review” is the date of the least recent review among the rows that the state guide shows. A review compares a row with its source. Click any row to see the full state guide.
