Penalties under the state's consumer-protection law
Except as provided in W.S. 40-12-111, any person or agent or employee of the person, who willfully uses, or has willfully used, a method or act, in violation of this act, is liable for a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for each violation. Willful violations occur when the person knew or should have known that the person's conduct was unfair or deceptive.

Duties that apply only to some organizations
- If the organization is a nonprofit corporation formed or qualified in this state
“Every Wyoming nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of this state and every foreign nonprofit corporation which obtains the right to transact and carry on its affairs within this state shall file an annual report setting forth the names and addresses of its officers and directors, the address of its principal office, and any compensation, profit or pecuniary advantage paid directly or indirectly to any officer or director. (b) The annual report required in subsection (a) of this section shall be filed with the secretary of state on or before the first day of the month of registration of every year.”
